Full Day Yangon Excursion

• Visit Yangon's unique Glass Factory, which has changed very little over the years.
• See skilled craftsmen hand-blowing glass and creating original glassware which is sold to hotels and restaurants all over Myanmar.
• Other stops can be made at the Green Elephant House, famous for specially designed lacquer ware and rattan, FXB show room, known for great cotton material and handmade toys and candles. This shop is a non-government organization and has several workshops where the items are produces.
• With this work AFXB supports ex-commercial sex-workers and AIDS / HIV patients.
• Continue to the Art & Décor the Yangon Women’s Home. Located in a residential area of Yangon, this shop hosts a range of household items and souvenirs in modern design, made from Myanmar materials. Also a wide variety of costume jewellery that is exported to France.
• Lunch at J’s Bistro Restaurant.
• Visit also the J’s Irrawaddy Dream, located in a residential area of Yangon, this shop hosts a large variety of Myanmar fabrics and materials in Western designs. If you like, you can also visit one of the modern shopping malls.
• Continue to Scott Market (closed on Public Holidays) and see Myanmar's wide range of handicrafts.
• Also visit the antique shop of Augustine, an old Indian who sells his private collection. (The shop might be closed when he is not around).
• Return to you hotel.
